Inspired by the beauty of Half Moon Bay, its vibrant sea life, and the town’s laid-back charm, Del Sol Beachfront has been part of the Akumal community since the early 1990s. We’ve remained a small, independent property ever since — a peaceful place for travelers seeking rest, natural beauty, and a slower pace of life.
For over 30 years, we’ve welcomed guests from around the world — many whom return year after year. Whether you're a longtime visitor or discovering us for the first time, we're grateful to share this special spot with you.
Our Philosophy
We believe in simplicity and comfort that celebrate the natural world around us. Our units are designed to let the Caribbean breeze, the sound of the waves, and the colors of the Yucatán Peninsula shine through. You won’t find overbuilt towers or flashy distractions here — just thoughtful spaces, friendly faces, and authentic charm.
Whether you're here to snorkel with sea turtles, connect with loved ones, or simply swing in a hammock with your toes in the sand, we welcome you to our little slice of paradise.
We love this coastline and do our part to keep it beautiful with sustainable and eco-friendly efforts. Half Moon Bay is a turtle nesting beach, and we actively support seasonal nesting protection and awareness. We also take part in local beach cleanups and practice
eco-conscious operations to help preserve Akumal’s delicate ecosystem for generations to come.
